Traditional China

Departure from your home airport and arrival in the vibrant city of Beijing. After immigration and baggage claim, we meet the guide to begin our adventure.

• Private transfer and a lunch of local flavours to begin the cultural tour.
• In the afternoon we visit the imposing Tiananmen Square and the legendary Forbidden City, one of the country's most emblematic architectural complexes.
• At nightfall we enjoy a shabu-shabu dinner, then have free time to explore the lively bar area of Shichahai Park, where we can also try traditional Beijing hot pot.

Breakfast at the hotel and we meet the guide to start a day full of history and traditions.

• In the morning we visit Wu Hill, where we explore the King Qian Pavilion and King Qian Temple, two sites that reflect the cultural richness of the ancient Song dynasty. Lunch with local specialities.
• In the afternoon we head to Longjing village, famous for its Dragon Well tea. There we live an immersive cultural experience, learning about tea production and enjoying a walk through its green hills and plantations.
• At dusk we taste a typical regional dinner and attend the Songcheng song and dance show, a production that revives the grandeur of ancient Chinese civilisation.

After breakfast, we set off for Wuzhen, one of China's most picturesque water towns, about an hour and a half from Hangzhou.

• On arrival we enjoy a lunch of local flavours and then visit the eastern part of the town, with its canals, stone bridges and traditional alleys. The tour includes a charming boat ride to admire the beauty of the place from the water.
• In the afternoon we continue our journey to Shanghai, a vibrant metropolis that combines modernity and tradition (a transfer of about two hours).
• On arrival, a buffet dinner awaits us at the Four Points by Sheraton Daning hotel to close the day with a wide selection of flavours.

After breakfast, we start the day with a cable-car ride up Tianzi Mountain, with spectacular panoramic views among mist-shrouded peaks and lush vegetation.

• After a lunch of local food, we visit the famous Yuanjiajie Park, known for the landscapes that inspired the floating mountains of the film Avatar. There we walk the iconic No. 1 Bridge Under Heaven and Mituo Peak, two of the park's most impressive spots. We end the tour descending in the astonishing Bailong Elevator, a feat of engineering built on a cliff face.
• Dinner with typical regional dishes.

After breakfast, we head to majestic Tianmen Mountain for a unique experience at altitude. We go up by cable car —one of the longest in the world— and continue the ascent by escalators and shuttle bus to reach the famous Heaven's Gate, a breathtaking natural arch between the mountains.

• Along the way we visit Tianmen Temple and walk the dizzying cliff path, including the thrilling glass walkway suspended over the void, ideal for lovers of breathtaking views.
• After a lunch of local food, transfer to the airport for the flight to Xi'an, the ancient imperial capital and cradle of the Silk Road.
• Check-in at the hotel.

After breakfast, we start the day with a visit to the imposing Xi'an City Wall, one of the best-preserved ancient fortifications in China, with a panoramic view of the city.

• We continue to Drum Tower Square, a landmark of the historic centre, and then stroll through the lively Muslim Street, famous for its traditional atmosphere and wide variety of food.
• After a lunch of local food, we visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an important Buddhist site and symbol of the city, with centuries of history and majestic architecture.
• Local dinner.
